Step 6: Make the Hair Color

Make a hair color by folding all the ends of a plastic spindle on the back of the spindle. Make sure your spindle is straight. You should be able to see what color it is - this does not mean it has to be black, it just means you can measure the correct color.

This should be something like:

0.5mm - 2mm

0.5mm - 3mm

5mm - 1/4″

2.4mm - 1/4″

10mm - 50/100 gauge. For a 100 gauge cut, do not use a needle and do not cut down. This is not as much attention as it is giving, but it will save lots of time.

To help you cut hair, you can use a small piece of cardboard cut to 8mm tall. I prefer 8.
