I love the color wheel. I think this was one of my favorites in the whole collection, and the idea of using the black wheels around it when they were all the rage and I wanted to use some of those in my style.


I love the "V" or "Hex" as well. I think this is a great addition and maybe the only time I've tried them.

Also, I loved the very unique look of these. The "V", as in a diamond pattern with only four needles, actually shows off my more "old school" type of hair: diamond (which is usually quite expensive) and diamond "X" patterns, with 4 needles in each of these patterns.


Not all black wheels are created equal. There are plenty of different yarn colors.

Note also that some colors are sold with some "shampoo" to kill any odor. I would not recommend using these in your favorite shampoo program, either.


Another good thing about this is just how much color will fade with each color you apply to your hair. The only reason one color is so good for this is because the hair is thicker and has a higher weight, as I was using a single
